Corps Support Committee
The Signal Cadets Advisory Foundation is the Corps Support Committee (CSC) for the cadet corps. The SCAF provides practical and financial support to the corps.
Made up of cadet parents, an Executive is elected each year to handle daily operations, organize volunteers, and support projects and fundraise. It also serves as an information hub for parents and a direct link with the Commanding Officer.
Army Cadet League of Canada
The Army Cadet League of Canada is a civilian non-profit organization that supports the Army Cadets by working in partnership with local communities and the Canadian Forces.
Fundraising
The SCAF coordinates fundraising activities to ensure that the 2509 Signals has the funding necessary to provide programs, events and activities for the cadets. Some of the activities are specific to the 2509 Signals and some of the activities are fundraising is coordinated by the Army Cadet League.
Royal Canadian Legion
The Royal Canadian Legion makes a real difference in the lives of Veterans and their families, offering support programs, and keeping the memory of those who sacrificed for Canada alive.
Each year the 2509 Signals partner with the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 264 for the annual Poppy Campaign. The campaign starts on the last Friday in October and runs to November 11th.
