About the Army Cadet Program

Army Cadets is a free program for teens aged 12 to 18, that teaches real‑world skills like navigation and survival to first aid, camping, leadership, and more. Cadets gain skills, enjoy summer camp, and build friendships that last long after they retire their uniform.

Civilian Instructors and Volunteers

Support the corps as a Civilian Instructor (CI) or Civilian Volunteer (CV).CIs are part‑time DND employees; CVs are unpaid volunteers. Both help with training and administration. Contact the 2509 Signals for more details.

Starting your registration

• Complete the online registration form to begin your registration.
• For the Unit Name, type in 2509 and select it from the list.
• Enter your email address and then click on the start new application button. 

Registration email validation

• After submitting your application a validation email is sent.
• Follow the link in the email to continue the application process.
• Once we receive your application, our team will reach out to with information about the next steps.
